What’s the job like?
In a welcoming and comfortable space, in private sessions, in a warm and trusting atmosphere. From a comforting and loving attitude.
My job is to welcome you, attend to you, listen to you completely and without labels, with your truth. To accompany you in discovering and unraveling the limiting patterns that accompany you. Together we will develop, apply, adapt, and integrate a range of personalized tools that you find valid and useful to make significant progress where it hurts, where you get stuck in a loop and/or get stuck. In addition to accompanying you to acquire a dynamic of personal inquiry, helping you to know yourself more and better. To have a healthy ego, a good life.
Working with me is not a standard agreement between “patient” and clinical psychologist. I understand that you are the one who can best resolve your issues. I cannot heal you of anything, but I can guide and illustrate you, guide you. It is dynamic, effective, decisive, direct, and clear work. The best outcome is that you learn to enjoy and accompany yourself.
If appropriate, we can address the spiritual aspect from a deep understanding of the common ground that exists in all faiths. My personal focus in this area is currently Advaita Vedanta, and I practice yoga and meditation daily.
Working with me will require effort, resilience, and courage.
